Saturday 3rd October was another good day for the Carrick senior teams, with a 100%
record for the second week in a row. In an away game, the 2nd XV beat Limivady II
by 19 points to 17 in a hard-fought encounter. The Carrick tries came from Kyle Jordan,
Adrian Patterson and Michael Patterson who was named "man of the match". Johnny Sheriff
kicked two conversions. The 3rd XV beat Queen's IV by 22 points to 7 at Woodlawn.
Playing into a strong breeze in the first half, Carrick did well to restrict the
visitors to to a 7 points to nil lead at half-time. In the second half, good tactical
kicking from Chris Auld and Gareth Clarke gave Carrick good field position on which
they capitalised with two tries from Craig Brazier and one from Gareth Clarke. Chris
Auld kicked a penalty and two conversions. Chris Wallace was awarded "man of the
match". The 4th XV were awarded the points when Civil Service could not field a team.The
1st XV did not have a match.
The youth teams travelled to Ballynahinch where the Under 15s won by 37 points to
21. The Under 17s and Under 13s both lost although the latter put up a good fight
by all accounts.
The minis entertained Randalstown and recorded some good results.

On Friday 9 October the Under 19s entertain Malone, with kick-off at 7.30.
